Today’s music is already tomorrow’s. Simon Rivet, our composer in residence, completes his cycle of four works based on the Elements, this time Fire. Veteran Ottawa composer John Armstrong offers us a bouquet of sound full of beauty, Dinuk Wijeratne, also from Ottawa, delves deeper into his innovative work from another world and yet so familiar, the deep melodies of Métis composer Ian Cusson and the imagination of a Canadian great, recently deceased, Serge Arcuri.
