The Music of Tomorrow Is Today
Presented by Frédéric Hodgson

Edgar Varèse – Octandre
Simon Rivet – premiere
Samy Moussa – In Memoriam : Jocelyn Morlock
Francis Battah – Codes, claves, accidents

The future of music is in good hands with today’s young composers, brimming with verve and imagination. Rivet, our award-winning composer-in-residence, Moussa, and Battah are part of this cohort that refuses to be intimidated. As an introduction, we have Octandre by Edgar Varèse, who, more than 100 years ago, foresaw the future of music.

Tickets are available at the door the night of the concert or online.
