The Ensemble Prisme invites you on a journey through Latin lands and their warm and uplifting music. To do this, the ensemble invited the brilliant young guitarist Marc-Étienne Leclerc to play his interpretation of the famous Concierto de Aranjuez, in an arrangement unique to Prisme.

To complete this program, three equally captivating works: Histoire du Tango by the great Astor Piazzolla, string quartet version, the irresistible Danzon no 2 by Arturo Marquez, decreed “the second national anthem of Mexico” and the so colorful Dança de Lisboa by Portuguese composer Alexis Ciesla.

The Prisme musicians, Jeffrey Miller on flute, Frédéric Hodgson on oboe and English horn, Ben Glossop on bassoon, Andréa Armijo-Fortin and Laura Nerenberg on violins, Olivier Philippe-Auguste on viola, Anne Contant on cello, Paul Mach, contrabass and Marc-Étienne Leclerc on guitar look forward to welcoming you to celebrate with you to the sound of this irresistible music.
