Just 20 days before the bicentenary of the great Ludwig van Beethoven’s death, Prisme will not only pay tribute to him but also remind us all why this composer is still considered a monument. His trio “Archduke” is simply extraordinary. Few composers have possessed such imagination and creativity. Behind the beauty of his themes lies an extraordinary musical firework display. Preceding him is a truly great composer who died too young, the Quebec Mozart, André Mathieu.
