On Saturday, May 21 at 8:00 p.m., Ensemble Prisme invites the public of Outaouais to its second spring concert of 2022 in the beautiful Notre-Dame de la Guadeloupe church with its rich and warm acoustics. On the program, a bouquet of works, each more beautiful than the next. Baroque Splendors will allow you to hear the music of the greats Bach, Vivaldi and Telemann, as well as two geniuses of the French baroque, François Couperin the Great and the fiery Jean-Féry Rebel.

In particular, three works will see the Prisme Ensemble present its own version of these great works: Johann Sebastian Bach’s Concerto BWV 1063 in its original version, François Couperin’s Concert Royal no 8 and Jean-Féry’s Les Caractères de la danse.

A festive evening, full of beauties.

The musicians of Prisme, Jeffrey Miller on flute, Frédéric Hodgson on oboe, Ben Glossop on bassoon, Laura Nerenberg and Adam Nelson on violins, Olivier Philippe-Auguste on viola, Anne Contant on cello and Frédéric Lacroix on harpsichord are looking forward to share with you this extraordinary music through the irreplaceable experience of a live concert.
