Peterson, Desmarais and other Jazz gems – Presented by Laura Nerenberg
The world of jazz is instinctive and skilful, and has provided us with great masterpieces, including a suite composed by the great Montreal pianist Oscar Peterson, in a very unique arrangement. Accompanying it is another great pianist from our country, Lorraine Desmarais, who has written a delightful flute sonata, performed by our virtuoso flautist, Jeffrey Miller. Plus, a fascinating work for oboe and small ensemble by the very poetic Ralph Towner.
