Water stories will immerse you in an extremely rich and varied universe, with works that all have in common that they are inspired by this vital element that is water.

Beginning with Debussy and his poetic vision of water, we continue with Fauré’s “liquid” trio, travel into the abyss with The Swan of Tuonela by Sibelius, then discover two works by First Nations female composers: the overwhelming Ohnekha’shòna Yakònkwe by Dawn Avery on the need to protect water and women, the profound Gaaming by Barbara Assiginaak and, finally, the latest work by the brilliant young composer Simon Rivet, Marées, accompanied by a work by the Mexican-born videographer living in Montreal Pablo Cordoba.
